From OCS Inventory NG
You've some machines in a DMZ and you want them to be inventoried in the public OCS server outside of the DMZ:
There is two common solutions:
- install the agent on your machine is the DMZ. Change the settings so it can write the inventories in a shared directory
- install a server in your DMZ and use OCS_OPT_GENERATE_OCS_FILES so the inventory are written in a shared directory. Then use this server for the machines of your DMZ.
- push the content of the directory in on a machine outside of the DMZ
- use the injector to push the inventories in the server
